Ok, more in-depth searching solved that problem.  Had to comment out the DPMS setting in the XF86Config-4 file.   All happy now.

Subject: Knoppmyth and HushPC Mini-ITX M12k colours all unhappy

So I decided to take the plunge and pick up a Mini-ITX M12k box from HushPC.

I've been using Knoppmyth for awhile and been quite happy with it - Did the homework and got a PVR350 working great along with all my toys.  The HushPC is meant to be a frontend to this box.

Knoppmyth installs fine on the box without messing around, and X comes up immediately on the video out.  However, the colours on the video are totally messed.  Unusable messed.

I've done a bit or research and found some people are using various sets of drivers Via, etc that appear to be working fine for them.  From what I *can tell*, it looks like Knoppmyth (15.1 by the way)  has this stuff already working.

Unfortunately I'm not much of a driver/module expert - I can fake my way around a bit, but I haven't had much luck figuring out whassup.

Anyone got any pointers for adapting Knoppmyth to work cleanly?

regards,

Paul
