On a newly built system running Fedora Core 3 with this kernel, 2.6.11-1.27_FC3, I would like to add a single HD-3000 card to the single PVR-350 card already installed and working. The PVR-350 is being used only for video capture, not playback.
I've seen some good guides for installling HD-3000 cards, but it's difficult to tell which of them really applies to the kernel on this new system. For example, can I use DVB drivers (preferred) without having to re-compile this kernel? It's a bit confusing to read Angel Li's Air2PC Guide which does compile the kernel, and then read Jarod Wilson's Howto where he states that he is using a Stock FC3 kernel. Then, there's the question of which of the tarballs on the pcHDTV site is the DVB tarball. I can surely get there using the trial-and-error method, but I'm just wondering if anyone has started out with a PVR-3/250 card and then added an HD-3000 card. If you have gone this route already, what were the main steps you took? Thanks for any help. -- MM _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
