Could someone who is successfully using a PCHDTV-3000 card with the 2.0 pcHDTV drivers under MythTV please tell me what your Capture Card settings are? My card works fine with xawtv so I know my problem is in the Myth configuration somewhere, but I can't figure it out. It's driving me nuts because at one point when I first tried installing MythTV I *did* have it working. Now I get "cannot obtain sync" errors if I try to watch live TV, or at record time if I schedule a recording. I have already tried completely uninstalling and re-installing and reconfiguring the entire bloody suite from scratch, but the problem persists, so I am surely just doing the same wrong thing over and over again (I've probably tried redoing the mythtv-setup configuration a dozen times now). I'm on FC3 with the at-stable RPMs for 0.18.1-112 and a 2.6.10_770 kernel if that matters.
What I've got is card type PCHDTV, device /dev/video0 . This does cause the card's inputs to be properly recognized: they show up as "Television" (coax), "S-Video", and "Composite". In xawtv, selecting "Television" works fine. In MythTV, I get the "Cannot obtain sync" error every time. Thanks for any help, --Greg --
