Try
rpm -qa --qf '%{name}-%{version}-%{release}.%{arch}.rpm\n' 2>&1 | sort >
/tmp/rpmpkgs
ls -ltrA /var/log/rpmpkgs* /tmp/rpmpkgs
diff -ud /var/log/rpmpkgs /tmp/rpmpkgs
etc.
But I can't imagine alsa delaying sound. It has to be an issue with
the client application. Perhaps the ABI changed in an incompatible
way?
FWIW I don't see (well, hear) any such delays.
