I don't! Not at all! I connect my cable TV cable to the capture cards. The capture cards tune stations from the cable directly. The TV knows nothing about that. A completely separate machine is hooked to the TV. It gets captured program over the network and displays them on one input of the TV. (Or more accurately through my home theater receiver.)
