I think the original poster was wondering how to disable options in mythfrontend. He can do this by editing the appropriate .xml files, but I would warn him to make backups, or copy the existing .xml files to a new directory. There was alot of info about how to do this recently in the archives under another Myxer release thread.
Playing with different graphics, the original poster could/should find using MyxerCustomizer the perfect solution. Users can enter their own graphics that they locate in any 'custom' directory using the MyxerCustomizer script. Also, it kinda pertains to the discussion on this thread, but I have also updated the main Myxer thread too. (sorry for the double post) Another Update to Myxer is available. This time there is no huge change, but see the following, and pictures at http://lisadaveh.home.comcast.net/myxer/ 1. Select Icons in MyxerCustomizer now allows you to pick G.A.N.T. icons (from your installed GANT theme. (I do not provide the graphics, just the proper symbolic links to an existing GANT installation with Myxer-compatible names. 2. Two new background variations in Version 2 background list (bluetwo backgrounds, but one has glass around both the menu items and icons, while the other just has a swirly glass around right icon area) 3. More new buttons to bluetwo buttons list; they are really some of the nicest ones yet. Check out: Green 3d reflection, Glass togglebutton, Green togglebutton and Green doublearrows sets. (there are active and inactive versions to play with on most of these). 4. I updated the BlueTwo pre-selectable skin to look a little more like the actual BlueTwo theme from MediaPortal. (Still not quite there yet) Hope everyone likes it. I really just added the linking to GANT icons per user requests, it was really easy to do. I really dont mean to tick anyone off, but since it just links to the existing icons in GANT, I didnt see any real problem.
