Anyone try divx? I'm assuming if divx did work xvid would too? Also, my only other concern is all the other myth modules such as ImageGallery and MythGame would also work through the TV-Out of the PVR-350. It sounds like that's the best way to go? Is use the PVR-350 for all outputs? -John -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Patrick de Brabander [mythtv] Sent: Friday, June 17, 2005 5:09 AM To: Discussion about mythtv Subject: RE: [mythtv-users] PVR-350 clarification > I guess what I'm also asking is that if I do want the most versatility for > the future (newer codecs, eventually DVD playback, other myth front ends, > and whatever else who knows) would I be limiting myself if I used a > PVR-350 > as my only TV-out. >This is true : it is not yet possible to watch properly divx, dvd and >other stuffs on the pvr350 tvout. With the new ivtvdev_drv from John Harvey, you can now perfectly play DVD and video trough the tv-out.
