I disagree, I am as fanatical about linux as some people are about catholicism. One needs to believe in something. I have *bitched* at people giving curt responses before and *devs* talking down to people, BUT, this is a mythtv users list, questions about myth not a sales pitch for things that work with mythtv. Going on and on about someting that "kind of" works with myth in response to this thread is way out of line. Maybe you should have renamed the thread "OT:buy a commercial product that works with mythtv but doesn't give anywhere near the functionality of a mythfrontend (was Silent HDTV Front End)". Then the people like me who read the list because we are interested in mythtv could have ignored your posts, instead of thinking that maybe you had something relevant to say > The attitude of some people on these mailing list > seems to be > My(th)Way or HighWay.New people exploring myth > would like to know the > alternatives of enjoying the myth experience.
