I see that 'unknown video codec' message. Is there something I have
to manually add to the installation, like the divx codec, and if so,
how?
This probably means that you haven't configured your transcoding
profiles.

Well, maybe I don't understand what needs to be configured. I have 2
profile groups
Hardware DVB Encoders
Transcoders
Under the first one, I changed the 'Default' profile to use MPEG-4 and
MP3. (because when I looked at the setup for a scheduled recording, it
was set to use the default.
Under the Transcoders group there are 5
Autodetect from RTjpeg/MPEG4
Autodetect from MPEG2
High Quality
Medium Quality
Low Quality
Does one of these need to be changed too (if so which one)?
