Both of these modelines use a 60Hz vsync and a 45KHz hsync. You
shouldn't have to specify hsync and vsync separately when using a
modeline like this. For my LCD projector which accepts HDTV 720
signals ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) over the DVI input I use the first mode
listed with the 74.25 dotclock.

Yes, use different modelines :) From various web sites I've used
the following two 1280x720 mode lines. Try them both one at a time
and see if they work any better than your existing modeline.
ModeLine "ATSC-720-60p" 74.25 1280 1320 1376 1650 720 722 728 750
ModeLine "ATSC-720-60p" 74.16 1280 1320 1376 1648 720 722 728 750
