Oh, I completely agree. It's far too slow, but I think it's a driver issue. I get >50MB/s on my recent PATA drives. I think (hope?) this is just a driver issue since support for the IGP chipset is lacking in some other areas also, such as graphics support. None the less since my MythTV recordings don't require even 1MB/S steady streaming I'm sure this would be fine for my current needs, but long-term it needs to improve.
