ivtv: Encoder revision: 0x02050032 ivtv: Encoder Firmware may be buggy, use version 0x02040011 Go here and get the correct firmware http://ivtv.writeme.ch/tiki-index.php?page=FirmwareVersions Then try again. I don't have a PVR 500 so not sure it will work, but it can't hurt to try.
