http://tinyurl.com/a9jbh shows the cable to be colored R, G, & B.  Are you sure this thing can do YPrPb Component out?  I visited the MSI page about the card, and it doesn't mention anything about the output format.  THIS DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!  All manufacturers do this.  http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=NX6200AX-TD128&class=vga

Please no responses about transcoders or alternatives. I went through 39
pages of emails on
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users/ last
night trying to find a solution, but in every thread someone changes the
subject.

I'm looking for a video card or mother board with on-board video supported
by MythTV that has simple YPrPb component output. I've seen a few cards
from ATI, but I fear Linux support for those. I've also heard of a VIA or
EPIA mother board that some guy was selling (several of), but I thought it
was weird that the only outlet for the unit was an individual's blog.

There has been lots of interest in component out over the past 2 years.
Let's get a definitive answer into the threads, and put this one to rest.

NVidia makes several cards that have component output on them. I do
most of my shopping through www.newegg.com and they refer to it as
HDTV out. I just posted a question yesterday regarding this card:

It has the component outs on it. I figure I will probably have to run
Powerstrip in Windows to get a good ModeLine for this card and my
analog Sony Wega with component inputs. This card is capable of
outputting 480i (Analog), 480p(DVD HighDef), 720p(HD), 1080i(HD). I
plan on just using the 480i for now, but if I get an HD TV, there ya
go!
