Thanks for clarifying - must be an error on my part somewhere. I
sincerely appreciate the time you spend on mythtv packages. Thanks
again.

First let me say thanks to everyone on this list for your invaluable
resources, especially Axel and Jarod.
I've got an (almost) successful setup with 2 250's and a cable stb w/
ir blaster. After following instructions from http://
www.lircsetup.com for my stb and it not working I finally found where
it says that atrpms lirc is only compiled with support for 2 devices
from here: http://lircsetup.com/lirc/trouble/kernsource.php
ATrpms had support for 8 devices in 0.7.0 since March and 4 devices in
0.7.1.
I don't mind following the instructions on compiling lirc by hand,
but my question is what to remove from my already working lirc
atrpms-
testing stuff. Can I just yum remove (I'm on Amd64) lirc and lirc-
kmdl and not have to remove the lirc-lib, lirc-devices and lirc-lib-
devel or do I have to remove EVERYTHING lirc related and completely
start from scratch?
Am I the only one that's run in to this? I searched the archives and
came up with nada (though my search terms may not have been
accurate).
Again thanks to everyone for your help.
