I cannot figure out why my screen goes blank after so long. I haven't timed the interval, but it's about 10-15 minutes. The only way I can get the screen back is to hit a key on the keyboard... even the remote won't do it for some reason which I don't understand either.

Anyway, I have this in my .xsession:
xset s noblank
xset s off
xset -dpms s off

I'm running Slackware current, and I editted my /etc/rc.d/rc.M to this:
# Screen blanks after 15 minutes idle time, and powers down in one hour
# if the kernel supports APM or ACPI power management:
#/bin/setterm -blank 15 -powersave powerdown -powerdown 60
/bin/setterm -blank 0 -powersave off -powerdown 0

What am I missing here?

Thanks.
