I'm done, Seems the new mb I got complains when I try to switch cards within Mythtv. Asus P4S800D-X. I've spent 20+ hours on this already. I really don't want to spend another weekend figuring out how to get a new kernel compiled with all the 'right' modules with the nvidia kmd etc, etc etc. I'm getting a Tivo. Sorry everyone I really did give a good shoot. I'm just burnt and would like to spend some time doing other things for awhile. Maybe when I have 4 our five days where I can spend 18 hours a day getting everything to work just right I'll come back to this. I had it working before but the apt-get files I used back then are now gone. I did have it working, once. But I just don't have the excitement to burn another 100 hours.
Thanks to everyone who help me out. I tried to give back a little when I could. kel On 8/6/05, Marc Tousignant <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > -----Original Message----- > > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:mythtv-users- > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Kelly > > Sent: Saturday, August 06, 2005 12:35 PM > > To: Discussion about mythtv > > Subject: [mythtv-users] PVR250 and HD300 setup > > > > I am at the end here.
