Very nice! I'd like to do the same thing for my Sequoia, if I just had
the time.
One thing though: you say there isn't anything out there for Linux for
"turn-by-turn" GPS navigation. Have you looked at GPSDrive? By all
accounts, that's exactly what it does. I read an article recently in
either Linux Magazine or Linux Journal on that very subject:
