I am using a framebuffer with nvidia's drivers on my gentoo machine. I am
using gensplash (http://dev.gentoo.org/~spock/projects/gensplash/) to provide
the splash image.
It's slightly off-topic, but can the vesafb-tng produce modelines
*below* VGA speed? I'd really like to have text-mode console working at
480i speeds. Last time I tried, I couldn't make it go. Also needs
interlacing.
Just curious.
