The MCE version of the pvr150 is pretty much driver compatible with the "retail" flavor.
Obviously you won't get a remote or IR blaster that comes with the retail package, but you'll get RCA audio inputs as opposed to 1/8th inch stereo mini jack and the inclusion of an FM tuner (mythtv guru's is the pvr150MCE's FM tuner supported in linux/myth?) with the MCE flavor (as well as the cheaper price.
