You might be able to reduce the delay if you alter the source and re-compile, otherwise get used to it. Once you have everything working you'll not be watching live tv much ;-) The minor delay (due to buffering) is worth it to be able to pause & rewind.

But then when they finally show what's in the hatch they opened at the end of the last season of Lost, think of all the people who will know 3 seconds before me... I'm not sure I can live with that. After all, that's why I moved from the Mountain time zone to the Eastern time zone. ;)
