I think I may be in a simular situation... First, a description of my setup. AMD 64 3200+ 1 Gig ram 36 Gig 10K RPM boot drive 1.2 Terabyte SATA Raid 5 Array (5 x 300G SATA drives) PVR-250 Cox Cable/Scientific Atlanta 3250 (Firewire output to PC) Running Fedora Core 3 x86_64, latest stable kernel (2.6.12-???)(Not at home right now) MythTV Latest Version x86_64 My intention is to be able to record standard def channels over the PVR-250, and the digital/HD channels via Firewire. I've had a few issues, but I am able to stream HD from the Firewire. What seems to be the problem right now is that I am only able to use the source that is listed first. I've not yet tested if I can record from both.. but I can't watch live TV except from the source that is first listed.. Started with my PVR-250 working, but no luck on the Firewire… Decided to remove the PVR to make sure there was no confusion. When Firewire is the only source, I can generally view it. I added the PVR back and when I try to change to a standard def channel… Nothing happens. I would expect that it would change to the source that has that channel in it's lineup. I have 2 different, non-overlapping channel lineups created on zap2it.com. Standard Def channels do not come over the Firewire, and the PVR-250 as you may know can't do HD/digital cable. I have LIRC setup with a IRBlaster and it is properly changing the channel for my SA3250, the PVR allowed channel changing from the start. Any help would be appreciated.
