By the way, I bought the red eye serial infrared channel changer and I'm using your skychannel.c. It changes the channels like a charm on my skybox.
Of course after I found about changing the protocol after I wired everything nicely.

If added correctly, changing channel in Myth should select the correct
tuner/setting for that channel/source. I'm still a bit hazy on the
terminology and linkage.
Run through myth-setup again and double check that everything seems to be
correctly cross-linked.
