If by the 3 component plugs you mean the 3 RCA plugs on the 350's output lead, please be aware that they are 2 audio plugs and 1 composite video plug (*not* 3 component video leads). The PVR-350 outputs composite video and S-Video at the same time, so you shouldn't need a different config. Just make sure you are using the PVR-350s onboard decoder for video, and running the desktop on the PVR-350 framebuffer device. I'd probably recommend getting everything up and running using your monitor, and then swapping over to the PVR-350 once configured. It's certainly possible to run dual desktops using your video card and PVR-350 at the same time, just requires a few more steps.
