Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far to the thread. I'm currently leaning toward getting another AP to bridge with my other AP, giving me a bit more flexibility as I can then add a switch on to the other end. I'm still wondering whether I should convince myself to run some cable instead to another switch, but it'll be very tough to run it through the walls as I want it hidden if I go this path.
