Thanks for the response guys. The Roku box is on the right track and would do the job - so would the Amino, Tcom, Humax, Samsung etc IP-STB's that I have seen and in most cases used.

There was one comment regarding the interfacing of the IP-STB's being different from each other - for the most part these days this statement is wrong - a few of the mass produced IP-STB's all use the fresco browser from Ant in the UK and if the box uses that browser then the API in Javascript is very uniform for the most part.

If anything is different it is the call to the VOD servers that are defined by those companies for their product - all we have to do is use what is already defined in the IP-STB's themselves which is everything we need.

If I can knock up a webpage that allows multiple channels to be navigated in 15 minutes then it isn't very hard - I am no S/W engineer that is for sure.
