Anyway, gonna install KnoppMyth and see what happens....

It's used on some GeForce cards, the MSI GeForce4 MX440 I used in my
prototype Mythbox had exactly that kind of connector, it worked fine
with a little tweaking in the /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file (as found in
KnoppMyth). With my MSI card, I found that it would only drive either
the TV or the monitor but not both. A snip is below...

Change in the "Screen" section.
Option     "TVStandard" "PAL-I"
Option     "ConnectedMonitor" "TV"
Option     "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO"
