The latest svn code builds just fine with gcc 4.0.1 -- I actually did a rebuild after patching it up on my own EPIA. I'm running a fully up-to-date FC4 on it, with the addition of the xorg 6.8.99.900 packages from washington.kelkoo.net, the hw decoder is working like a champ. > Apparently there is some bug in gcc4 that I was tickling. Yup. s/is/was/ though. :) > Strangely my > box - an Ezra 1Ghz - seems to be confused about whether it is i586 or > i686. It seems to dynamically link some i686 lib (installed in libc > package I think) to binaries. There was some suggestion on the unichrome > list that this might be a problem, but it seems to be working fine now. Some of the Via chips don't implement the full i686 instruction set, so they're somewhere between an i586 and an i686. -- Jarod Wilson [EMAIL PROTECTED]
