[mythtv-users] Question about ticket #340 labeled "Redo live-tv"

  I have a problem with seeking in live-tv, it happens when I rewind a little, then attempt to fast forward back to ~realtime.  Somehow the pointer for where I'm at in the live-tv buffer gets screwed up and shifts all the way back to the beginning of the stream.  At this point the live-tv code thinks I am at ~realtime and won't let me fast forward anymore, saying that I am only 3 seconds behind.

  Anyway, my question is, I was going to put a ticket in but I noticed ticket #340.  It mentions stuff about seeking and don't want to add a ticket for something that might be completely re-coded.  Will the seeking stuff be re-written or should I add a ticket for this item?  Issac... anyone else?
