(Thought I'd better change the header from FC3 to
avoid any confusion... I'm actually on Knoppmyth
R5A16.)
Anyway, cheers for that but I've solved it....
It was because one of the "transports" I had
configured had an incorrect frequency... which caused
it to crash.
I then got past the black screen and on to a
blue-screen error saying "failed to initialise video",
the output indicated that XVMC failed to load.
So now I can finally get Tv to work.... however only
if I disable the VIA XVMC support. I must have messed
something up when I compiled the 6.13 kernel... I've
also lost ndiswrapper having upgraded my kernel.
Anyway, can anyone tell me what I need to do to get
these features back? I'm guessing I need to select
something in the kernel configuration that isn't
selected by default?
