Ok. Some more info maybe some one has a clue to what's going. If I remove all the plugins I can actually get mythfrontend to run, setup sound, themes etc. Watch Live TV works great.
However, reinstalling any of the plugins still give me the same seg fault so functionality is still limited. Anyone have know what could be happening? If I try to download and compile the mythplugins in /usr will I be able to update via yum the future updates to mythplugins?
