If you're just wanting to use MythVideo, you shouldn't have to add capture cards or configure channels (quite a few users run MythTV this way). > > How do I get my shows to appear so I can DL them? Then configure MythVideo with the shared path's mointpoint, make sure the files are accessible through any firewalls, and you should be good to go.
