I seem to have been able to fix the system by deleting the installed video cards and channel settings in MythtvSetup. It's strange because I initially did exactly that after changing the inputs...

Subject: PVR250 can't change channel
To: myth <[email protected]>

My system consists of 2 pvr250's that were original setup on s-video inputs but I have since changed them to "tuner" input. I'm now unable to change the channels? as well as set any programs for recordings? anyone have any ideas?

I was not able to manully record using "cat /dev/video0 > /tmp/test_capture.mpg" then "mplayer -vo xv /tmp/test_capture.mpg" as can be seen below, but I can actually watch TV in MYTH?
