ISTR the Hauppauge MVP Myth viewer needs PS rather than TS, so until the conversion is enabled as a playback option, it won't be possible to watch DVB recordings unsing the MVP. Or am I mistaken?
I believe that they've implemented a TS->PS parser, but check the archives of the mvpmc mailing list.
