Adelphia and Time Warner all provide HD-DVR's, as do Dish and DirecTV. I had Adelphia's which where I was was the SciAtl. box (pure and utter crap) but they do have the Motorola in some areas, my dad has Time Warner and has the Motorola HD-DVR and a few friends in my area (Comcast) have the Motorola HD-DVR. From what I've heard and from personal use the order of quality for the provider boxes goes: 1: Dish PVR 2a: DirecTV PVR 2b: Motorola HD-DVR 3: SciAtl. HD-DVR also apparently the DirecTivo's, including the HD one, are not all that great in terms of dependability, and apparently the guide on them is much slower than the regular DirecTV pvr's. I loved my 1st gen TiVo, but with no digital tuner or HD I just can't find a use for it. MythTV is really the way to go, especially when the cablecard tuners come out. -- Steve _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
