How have you managed to resolve it?
Well, I'm somewhat baffled but this problem has now disappeared. I noticed that in my tinkering I'd changed the xorg.conf file to a 640x480 resolution. When I changed it back and rebooted the machine a couple of times things cleared up. None of the POST messages are ever visible on this machine but after the kernel has loaded and services begin to start then I can see the graphical boot output. I'm most baffled b/c I the X config should have no impact on the graphical boot since that isn't run thru X. Keith. --
