I set up More4 on my mythtv system last week and I've noticed that since the launch, there seems to be slightly less active picture area than other channels on Freeview. I've got a minimal amount of overscan, just to clip the (normally non-visible) picture area from recorded & live TV. However with More4, I can just make out a blue line down the left hand side of the screen, and there doesn't seem to be as much of the vertical area used either.
Also - is it just me or is the video quality of 'The Daily Show' really bad? It seems to be very lacking in contrast, chroma (colour) and detail. I know it's sourced in NTSC, but NTSC to PAL conversion has come a long way since we first imported US TV, so what's going on? I can forgive the video quality by the way - the editorial is brilliant ;-) Anyway - has anyone else noticed these issues? BTW all the other channels I've set up (the usual suspects minus shopping channels lol) look fantastic.
