I just want to second this. I have had two 160GB Maxtor drives die within a month of purchase. Maxtor used to be a reliable brand when disks were smaller, but my experiences with their larger drives have been bad and I won't ever buy another one. Got shafted on a rebate to boot )-: --Greg
