I've tried backing off to Myth 113, and same problem.  A few more details about my setup: * running x86_64 FC4 * Tried myth build 113 and 114 (0.18.1) from atrpms, both display the same error ("recompile MythTV with FireWire supprt") My last myth box (same hardware running x86_64 FC3) worked fine. Anyone else with suggestions?  I suppose its possible that the FC4 builds of mythtv on atrpms were compiled without firewire, but the FC3 builds were? -- Todd John Winkeler wrote: I don’t think that it is a problem with the 2.6.13 kernel. My feeling is that the ATRPM compile changed and didn’t pick up the firewire stuff.
