Not related, but is the svn trunk considered version 0.19?

No. It's best described as SVN revision XXXX (current rev is 7560 as of 2005-10-22 15:13:59 +0000). Since SVN changes constantly and 0.19 will be different from current SVN (and since 0.19 hasn't been officially released), SVN is /not/ 0.19. If every revision of SVN starting with the first change after 0.18 were considered 0.19, we'd have thousands of versions of 0.19--which kind of defeats the purpose of having version numbers.

Unfortunately, many people see "mythfrontend --version" reporting things like "0.19.20051014-1" or see the README, which has been updated for 0.19, says "Release 0.19" and think they're using 0.19--which doesn't exist, yet. So, don't worry, no one sneaked out version 0.19 while you weren't looking. :)

Interesting, though, that no one notices Robert Kulagowski's comments in the docs that say, "This section will be removed from the HOWTO with the release of 0.19," or, "REMOVE ME in 0.19." :)
