Hi all, I am having a nightmare of a time configuring XMLTV for UK listings, so I really hope you can help. Firstly, this is my box:
MythTV 0.18.1-5 in Ubuntu Breezy x86 on AMD64 XMLTV 0.5.40-1ubuntu1 I have a WinTV DVB card in there, although there is no arial hooked up and I am switching it for a PVR-350 when it arrives on Monday. The DVB card is not tuned in at all. So, this is what I do: 1. run mythtv-setup and clear my card and channel settings. In the video sources I use the United Kingdom (alternative) which uses tv_grab_uk_rt and I click Finish. At 50%, I flick to the terminal window and type 'all' to accept all channels. I then press esc to exit the setup program and run: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ mythfilldatabase It then gives me the following output: 2005-10-28 17:21:36.121 New DB connection, total: 1 2005-10-28 17:21:36.192 New DB connection, total: 2 ----------------- Start of XMLTV output ----------------- 2005-10-28 17:21:36.256 New DB connection, total: 3 All data is the copyright of the Radio Times website <http://www.radiotimes.com> and the use of this data is restricted to personal use only. HASH(0x8cfecc8) At this point it seems to have hung, so I press Ctrl-C and it then displays: ------------------ End of XMLTV output ------------------ Error in 327653:388: unexpected end of file Updating icons for sourceid: 1 2005-10-28 17:28:25.797 New DB connection, total: 4 Updated programs: 0 Unchanged programs: 0 Failed to fetch some program info I am now back at the prompt. What is wrong with this? My assumption was that there is a problem with gmtv.co.uk, but when I go to /usr/share/xmltv/tv_grab_uk_rt, edit channel_ids and comment out gmtv.co.uk it throws up a problem with taste.co.uk. Can anyone help me with this? Cheers, Jono _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
