Well it isn't anything to do with locking it to Region
2. The only reason I set it to region 2 was because I
read a post with a similar error message and someone
suggested that some discs won't play if no region code
is set.
I found a site for downloading firmware to get around
region locking completely but I don't think my drive
was on there.
