I was (still am till newegg stuff gets here), and with an nvidia 5200 video card, i only have about 30% cpu free, so you might want to think about a card that has the hardware on it to encode the video (i have 2 pvr-250's, recording leaves 99.2% free, it's watching tv that has 30% free), don't know if that card is, but a quick search of the list gave this:

talks about the driver needed, and looks like a bunch of people use it.
I have a spare machine that I am planning on using for a mythtv box. It
is a 933mhz P3.
Does anyone have a recomendation for at TV card. Can get a good deal on
a WinFast TV2000 XP Expert. Is this a good card or is there something
better, (and reasonably priced)?
