Assigned to my power button, just the same as Jarod's guide, and yet
when I press the button, it doesn't shutdown mythfrontend, nor does it
restart it if it has crashed. Hence my tring to execute it manually.
If you want to run it manually, just run the script
/usr/local/bin/mythpowerbutton.sh
For it to work with irexec, you need to make sure you are running irexec
before you start mythfrontend just with:
irexec
in whatever scripts you use to start the frontend
