I recently recorded two movies. One of them is showing up in my

filtering results? Press MENU (M) and then select either a group
or recording group filter to set them back to All Programs

Just because it says "All Programs", doesn't mean it is displaying
*all* programs. There is an option in setup to have the list show
the actual filter in place instead of showing "All programs" all the
time. You may be seeing "All programs" with a particular filter in
place. Try checking that to confirm whether you have a filter.

I just went searching for this filter and can't find anything. I
have never set up filters either. This is a fairly new install.

I've just confirmed by looking in the database that there is only one
record in there -- for the recording that does show up. Is there an
easy way to get the other recording in the database?
If you physically have the file, you can run the
myth.rebuildddatabase.pl script from the contrib folder of the MythTV
source which will add orphan files to your database.
