It won't pick up logical channel number changes, no. Or at least it
didn't for me when they changed the other week.
Of course it doesn't really matter unless you actually care about
the channel numbers, which is largely only a Live TV thing anyway.
I'm not sure even sure if a rescan will make the change. I just
tweaked my database when I decided I could be bothered to make the
change.
