I went back and re-did my partitions with FC4 and it has jfs. In fact, I did the install over FTP with 'linux jfs askmethod' and it worked fine.

Bah, I have a perfectly functioning FE/BE machine running on Ext3 on a
Celeron 1.2 GHz.  Tell me again how JFS will help me.
