Can you create a filesystem for myth to use that will span that much
storage space?  Probably.

Will you have administrative problems down the line caused by *having*
to have a filesystem that large?  Eventually.

Would it be a good idea if someone ginned up patches to permit Myth to
span multiple mount points with its stored video files?  Certainly.

:-)

I believe someone actually already is/has, though I don't recall
whether they're mainline or not.  But if you're considering 2TB (we're
at 600+GB ourselves), you might oughtta look into it.
