I dropped the FSB from 199MHZ to 166MHZ, and the above script ran clean on the MBE. Later I will need to start cranking it back up till I can find the breaking point.
You might also want to try some other settings besides FSB. Many of the newer motherboards tend to include "overclocker" settings for all sorts of components (FSB, memory timings, memory speed, voltages, etc.) and having any one of these wrong can make for a very unstable system. Unfortunately, the "default" settings aren't necessarily right, either. (I have a new motherboard whose default settings "undervolt" the AGP bus. That was an annoying problem to track down. Yours is more likely a memory timings/speed/voltage issue, but the point is that the defaults may not be appropriate.)
