Ah ha.
Well, several discarded CDs later, I installed, had some issues. As it
turns out, only the fourth disc was bad, and I didn't get much off of it.
But I reburned #4 and reinstalled. That did actually fix some stuff.
But now I can't get the network card working (DHCP or static). Very
frustrating thing about Linux. I can boot Knoppix from the CD and get
working internet, but can't get the mouse to work, I can boot FC4 and get
the mouse, but no 'net.
