I've never tried it, but I can't think of any reason it shoudn't work, especially if you have a hardware RAID controller. When you have hardware raid, the OS sees each set as a partition. I've never epxanded an array on a Linux box w/LVM, but I have done so on a Novell box and it worked flawlessly (about 5 years ago on Novell 4.11... added another disk and allocated the additional storage space all without ever rebooting :) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAkN7P+kACgkQPFshtZHeR6lwkQCfdKTr0SzcFT9yz5SU7/6XE4eq GOwAnipaoGUMGvXVlohSrjT1bdD7mgYL =Uzx2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list [email protected] http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
